Popular ecommerce-based UK home telephone company Telephones4u sell
digital cordless home telephones via their own ecommerce website,
eBay and a number of other online shopping channels.
Various listing fees and overheads and the need to stay competitive
resulted in fairly low margins on each product sold, and the administrative
time required to process
each of the dozens of sales orders achieved each day was eating
into profits and using up valuable staff resources, almost to the
point where the business was simply becoming unviable.
Criteria assessed the way in which Telephones4u operated and produced
a bespoke Web Order Pro solution
resulting in order processing and administration time being reduced
by 90%.
Our solution meant that all orders are processed automatically.
In this solution the software checks for orders every ten minutes,
downloads the order and automatically prints it on a custom order
sheet, containing the delivery address label, customer details and
even promotional labels to use on the packaging. At the same time,
the software communicates with Parcel Force, Telephones4U's chosen
courier, and advises that orders are ready to collect.

eBay Powersellers Willen Trading sell a wide range of home consumer
electronics to its UK marketplace.
Because of the range, volume, diversity and nature
